Service Scavenger Hunt

This week, have a Service Scavenger Hunt with your family or friends. Divide into groups and race to complete a list of services for people you know in your neighborhood. One service per house. Services could include things like raking leaves, mowing a lawn, taking out trash, sweeping, watering plants, etc. Have fun and feel good while helping those around you.

DONATE BLOOD.--"Only 38% of Americans are eligible to donate blood and of those only 8% do. That amounts to only about 3 out of every 100 people." Click here to find a donation center near you.

Eligibility requirements-
--You must be healthy
--You must be at least 110 lbs.
--You must be at least 17 (16 in some states if you have parental consent)

Last Week

Just a reminder, this is the last week we are running our fundraiser. The drawing will take place Tuesday, May 3rd in the evening. So, make sure you get in the donations before then. Thank you everyone for all your support and generosity with your time and money.

Drawing Prizes for Donors

We are thrilled to announce that so far we have two restaurants that have donated to our drawing. Olive Garden and Hal O-Peno's have each generously donated a $25.00 gift card. All Metro Phoenix donors will be entered into the drawing which will take place on May 3. If you live outside of Metro Phoenix and would still like to be placed in the drawing please let us know. Many states have an Olive Garden.

Fundraiser for Japan

We're so excited to announce that THIS Tuesday, April 5th, we are starting our four week "Change from the Heart" fundraiser for Humanitarian Aid. We're collecting any loose change that might be stuffed in places like your sofa cushions, your junk drawer, or car cup holder. (Of course, you're welcome to donate more!) We'll have drawing prizes for 3 of our lucky donors. The drawing will take place on May 3rd. (More on the prizes later) 100% of all donations will then be donated to the Humanitarian Aid Fund of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. There, 100% of your donation goes to help the Earthquake/Tsunami victims of Japan, other such disasters and many other wonderful humanitarian aid projects. Read here for more info.
